Vote for Spark to win $50k in the 2015 Lincoln’s Legacy Award Competition

The nonprofit with the most votes from September 14 through October 2, 2015, will be awarded $50,000

Through the Lincoln's Legacy Award, Lincoln Financial Group recognizes and invests in nonprofit organizations whose principles and programs advance Abraham Lincoln's legacy of freedom and opportunity through education. Spark is pleased to be selected as one of the five finalists in the third year of this initiative.

The nonprofit organization with the most votes after October 2, 2015 will be awarded $50,000 to forward its mission. Supporters are asked to vote once between September 14 and October 2, 2015.

“As a growing nonprofit, this is both an incredible funding and awareness-building opportunity,” said Jane Walsh, Managing Director of Development and Partnerships for Spark. “As the winning organization, Spark would apply the funds in support of national and regional work, enabling the organization to pair more underserved middle grade students in unique workplace-based apprenticeships.”
